The following position is available at the Bern location with immediate effect or by arrangement :
Team member IT Support & System Engineering 80-100%
As a link between IT support and the engineering team, you will use your knowledge and expertise in the various areas in a targeted manner and contribute to exciting customer projects. You will be responsible for programming and optimizing our internal tools, thereby contributing to the further development of work processes. In the helpdesk, you support our customers with their IT issues and, together with your eight team colleagues, ensure the operation and maintenance of our private cloud. Together, you will look after our self-developed virtualized CAD workstations and high-performance servers and continuously develop them further.
What we want from you
- Completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist or comparable training
- Ideally3-5 years of professional experience in the IT environment
- Interest in technical details
- Programming skills in the programming languages C#, .net and VBScript an advantage
- Experience with hypervisor (VMware/Xen) and VDI environments based on Horizon and/or Citrix an advantage
- Knowledge and experience with current Microsoft systems (Windows Server 2019/2022, Office365, Azure)
- Responsible, trustworthy and customer-oriented personality
- Very good knowledge of Swiss German, German and French
- Uncomplicated, team-oriented and humorous personality
