With our WaaS models (Workplace as a Service), we offer you the modern workplace in a rental model. All costs for hardware, virtual CAD workstation and backup support (excl. user support) are included in the costs. Billing is based on the resources ordered and the number of employees: This makes the costs predictable and eliminates costly investments.
Our WaaS models
The requirements for the workstations depend on the tasks. What is clear is that they have increased in terms of mobility and flexibility for all employees. For this reason, our WaaS models are equipped with notebooks. We distinguish between workstations for non-CAD users (WaaS Management) and for CAD users (WaaS virtual CAD workstation).
- WaaS Management: This WaaS model is aimed at all non-CAD users such as management, project management, construction management or administration. These employees work with a powerful notebook that is also very suitable for presentations to customers. The connection to the private cloud is optimised by a certificate solution (access with one click). Our experience shows that this is significantly more stable and performs better than conventional solutions.
- WaaS virtual CAD workstation: This WaaS model is aimed at all employees who work with CAD and graphic data. The virtualisation of our CAD workstation is realised by means of a specific finitia high-performance server. Each user has his virtual CAD workstation available via VMware Horizon. This contains the required programmes and the individual settings. Access is via a simple internet connection from the notebook.
In both WaaS models listed above, your processed data is stored in our private cloud. Secure, highly available and already included in the costs.
