2022

finitia uses a digital and intuitive recruiting platform or ATS (Applicant Tracking Software) for its customers. finitia's data center is classified as Tier IV and thus belongs to the highest availability category.

2021

Virtual CAD workstations for architects, planners and engineers: The vision of mobile and flexible working is becoming a widespread reality at CAD. In the past, technical limitations and high investment costs prevented virtual CAD workstations. Thanks to numerous partnerships, after an intensive development period finitia has succeeded in enabling architects, general planners and engineers to work in new ways with an innovative IT infrastructure.


2020

Digitalisation is advancing in all service areas, and finitia supports many of its customers in this process. For example, finitia is the official identification office for Skribble and thus enables the simple and fast implementation of an electronic signature.

2019

finitia develops a vision of IT infrastructure for architects, planners and engineers. finitia develops customised solutions for its clients in the following fields of action:

  • Mobility (independence of location)
  • Flexibility (individuality)
  • Communication (various media)
  • Collaboration (shared work platforms)  

finitia also optimises existing IT infrastructures and enables the method of digital planning and construction resulting in the informed 3D model (BIM). With the finitia PC, performance is redefined and BIM becomes possible. The requirements for a workstation to use CAD and BIM software are becoming more and more extensive. Thanks to an individual configuration tailored to the software, the finitia PC achieves high performance at a reasonable price. It is easily expandable with RAM, CPU, SSD and graphics card, guaranteeing a long service life.

2018

finitia is growing and has more than 25 employees in the areas of finance, HR management, communication and IT services.

2017

The focus is now on the employees. finitia now offers services as an HR Business Partner. Existing services such as personnel administration are joined by other services such as the development of a salary model, career paths or a training catalogue.

2016

finitia now takes on communication tasks for its clients to support acquisition and corporate image. From website support and design to suitable media and project databases, finitia offers individual customer solutions.


2014

finitia moves. In summer 2014, finitia will move into its offices at Nordring 4A, Bern.


2012

Flexible solutions for data storage are developed. finitia offers individual solutions as a private cloud and manages the IT infrastructure of more than 500 workplaces.

2010

Specific controlling instruments are developed in the area of finance. The result is comprehensive project controlling that determines location-related data and key figures such as a monthly contribution margin calculation, a valuation factor per project and productivity analyses.

2008

2008: finitia develops a specific risk landscape for architects, general planners and engineers and implements targeted control mechanisms.


2006

finitia complements its finance and IT services with personnel administration. The company employs 11 people.

2005

Founding of finitia from the internal department of a renowned architecture firm. We are proud of our roots in architecture and feel committed to them.
