We are looking for a new team member for our Bern office, to start immediately or at a later date , as a
Senior System Engineer (80–100%)
As part of the engineering team, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, operation, and further development of our technical IT infrastructure, ensuring that our in-house virtualized CAD workstations and high-performance servers operate reliably and securely. You will manage exciting client projects, coordinate with our external partners as needed, and work closely with our support team.
What we want from you:
· Extensive experience in the areas of networking and security, workplace/VDI, servers and storage, or virtualization/cloud
· Strong knowledge of common technologies, platforms, and architectural and security principles
· Experience in complex IT environments and a commitment to continuous professional development
· A structured, independent, and quality-oriented approach to work, including thorough documentation
· Analytical skills in troubleshooting, as well as strong prioritization and organizational skills
· A team-oriented, reliable person who takes the initiative
· Strong communication skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
· Ability to handle heavy workloads, even during intense project phases or periods of disruption
· Excellent knowledge of Swiss German and German, good knowledge of English and/or French
