Our annual excursion this year took us to the center of the Röstigraben, the hometown of our colleague Carole. We explored not only the city but also the specialties of Fribourg: Cuchaule (saffron rolls), Gruyère and local beer, studied the 700-page Sensler German dictionary and climbed the 365 steps of St. Niklaus Cathedral to get a bird's eye view of the city. Heading west, we glimpsed our next destination: the town of Givisiez. There we visited the Scott Sports headquarters. The new building, which will open in 2019, was planned and realized by our customer IB, with a central atrium, workplaces for 600 employees, showroom, cafeteria and sports areas. Unsporting, we returned to Fribourg by S-Bahn and talked shop about the latest bike models at the aperitif.
