The growing shortage of skilled workers is posing major challenges for companies. In specialized industries in particular, it is becoming increasingly difficult to attract qualified talent—and retain them over the long term. Traditional recruiting methods are increasingly reaching their limits.
At the beginning of the year, we therefore carried out a comprehensive employer branding project for a client in the architecture sector. The goal was to highlight the company’s existing strengths, define an authentic employer brand, and refine its approach to attracting potential talent . Based on a thorough analysis, we developed a clear positioning strategy that is both supported internally and communicated effectively to external audiences. Building on this, we developed concrete measures across the entire candidate journey—from the career page and digital channels to the internal integration of employer values.
In addition, we launched a social recruiting campaign with our client designed to raise awareness of the company among candidates who are passively considering a career change and to spark their interest.
Measurable results are already evident after just three months: The number of applications has increased, and at the same time, the quality of candidates has improved significantly. Today’s applicants are a better fit for both the technical requirements and the company culture, which makes the selection process more efficient and lays a stronger foundation for long-term employment relationships.
The project demonstrates that strategic employer branding is much more than just communication. It clarifies a company’s identity as an employer, enhances its appeal in the market, and ensures that companies can effectively reach the talent that is truly a good fit for them.
